The diverse rural landscapes of Italy have specific characteristics and peculiarities that define identities deeply rooted in local history and tradition, representing our most significant cultural heritage. The objective of GLAS’ research is to analyze and enhance historic rural landscapes, in particular the historic terraced landscapes of Liguria, whose enhancement is equivalent to protecting a landscape that is fragile from an environmental, historical, and social point of view.
